TAGUNG: INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON VTET RESEARCH AND NETWORKING 2010, BORNEO, 23. + 24.06.2010

SEAMEO VOCTECH Regional Centre, Brunei Darussalam (Borneo) and the Ministry of
Education, Brunei Darussalam are jointly organising the International
Conference on VTET Research and Networking 2010 which will be held in
Brunei Darussalam from 23rd to 24th June 2010.

This international conference will serve as a forum to share research
efforts/findings and best practices and build and sustain a growing network
of VTET researchers at international, national and regional levels.
Researchers, practitioners and policymakers will converge to deliberate on
the general theme: Exploring Best VTET Policies and Practices through
Research & Networking Initiatives.

In this regard, we would like to invite you to participate in our
conference and seek your support to distribute this information to relevant
persons and organizations who might wish to participate either as
Participants and/or Paper Presenters for the parallel sessions during the
International Conference.

Papers may focus on any of the following sub-themes:
1. Best practices and policies on VTET management and resource
generation.
2. Best practices and policies on interactive ICT Usage to Improve VTET.
3. Current Developments on Teaching-Learning Methodologies and Student
Assessment.
4. Integrating sustainable development and life skills in VTET Programmes
/Services.

Paper Presenters are also requested to prepare an abstract of the paper of
200-250 words with a title, not exceeding twelve words, author's name,
affiliation, e-mail, conference sub-theme; Content of abstract must
include: objectives, methodology / points of discussion / research.
Abstract should be emailed to the Conference Secretariat at
voctech@brunet.bn / conference@voctech.org.bn no later then Friday, 14 May
2010.
 
The Paper Review Committee will inform the Abstract Sender by Tuesday, 18
May 2010, whether the proposal has been accepted.
 
Soft and hard copies of the Full Paper selected for the conference must be
sent to the Conference Secretariat no later than Monday, 7 June 2010.
